Now i have started to paint the basic colors and just creating the images. Then my next step is to bring out the form in the symbols. Also im probably going to add more symbolism to the piece to add for value to the piece.

I started to paint now, and this is how it looks so far.....

Now I’m currently adding a sand medium so it can give my painting a "Brick Illusion". I want to have that illusion because Orozco works inspired me to become a muralist and create murals around Boston.

Now i started to add some color to it. To see how my color palette is going to look. Also i started to move things around, deleting and adding new elements to the painting.

Those are two rough drafts of my potential pieces. I was trying to map everything out to see my choices. Then I add some values to see how I can make things pop out..

1st step

So i started off by making a list of adjectives that describe me and Orozco connection. Then i went and made three+ thumbnails of my potential art pieces. Then from there eliminated most of them and picked the thumbnail that best describe the relationship and how he motivated me to keep doing art....
